The outlast trials

Setting and Story
• Cold War Era: The game takes place in 1959, exploring the early, dark origins of the series' recurring antagonist, the Murkoff Corporation.
• Brainwashing Experiments: Players control "Reagents"—destitute volunteers or abducted individuals trapped inside an underground Murkoff facility called the Sinyala Facility.
• The Goal: Subjects are forced through a series of twisted, unethical physical and psychological tests (termed "Trials") designed to brainwash them into sleeper agents. Surviving enough trials eventually grants freedom.
